Library Director

Town of Woodbury.  Working under the direct supervision of the First Selectman, the Library Director is responsible to develop, administer and coordinate the work of the Library and staff. Work to develop and administer informational and cultural programs; and work with community officials and groups to implement and expand Library services. Works with the Board of Selectmen and Library Board of Trustees to establish goals, policies, and objectives for the Library. Master of Library Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited college plus a minimum of five years public library experience in a supervisory position. Expertise in ILS, Open Source and Evergreen is required.
