Manager of Library Public Services - Groton Public Library.
We are seeking an innovative leader with exceptional managerial and
interpersonal skills. The responsibilities of this position include
managing, planning, organizing and supervising the Library’s Public
Services division which includes all services and activities provided
for children, young adults and adults. The Manager supervises 8
professional librarians and 6 support staff, works collaboratively with
the Manager of Circulation and Technical Services and reports to the
Director of Library Services. We are seeking an enthusiastic and
experienced individual with excellent technology skills and an interest
in programming and public relations activities. The position requires
effective verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of
budget preparation, collection development, and staff training and
development. Qualifications include an MLS and three years of public
library experience. Full-time, 40 hours per week, salary range $68,842 -
$81,955 with excellent benefits. Job posting and application are
