Library Aide I (Part Time & Substitute) - Canton Public Library

Library Aide I - Scheduled Part Time and Substitute positions available. The Canton Public Library is seeking energetic, friendly, customer service-oriented individuals to join our staff at our Circulation, Children’s, and Reference desks. A high school education or equivalency is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Must have strong computer skills, including fast, accurate keyboarding; use of email; internet searching; routine trouble-shooting of computers; familiarity with social networking utilities; and the ability to create documents and simple spreadsheets. Must be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous customer service and library experience is preferred. Applicants must be available days, evenings, and weekends. The rate of pay is $13.37 per hour. There are no benefits.
