Bookmobile Driver Assistants - The West Haven Public Library seeks two part time, 16 hours weekly, $9.34 an hour, Bookmobile Driver Assistants. Under the direction of the Bookmobile Driver, duties include: assisting in operating and maintaining the Bookmobile; drives the Bookmobile on established weekly routes; performs circulation duties; assists in locating and obtaining materials for library users; routes materials among facilities on a regular basis; transports to day cares, nursing homes, convalescent homes and regularly scheduled stops. Excellent customer service skills is essential. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Qualified candidates must have a state of Connecticut driver’s license and evidence of a safe driving record.
