Technical Services Library Assistant - Oliver Wolcott Library, Litchfield

Technical Services Library Assistant - The Oliver Wolcott Library in Litchfield, Connecticut seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Technical Services Library Assistant with demonstrated public service experience. The Technical Services Library Assistant coordinates and performs basic cataloging and all processing services for adult services, oversees inter-library loan, and provides general circulation and library services to patrons. The full job description is available upon request. The Oliver Wolcott Library is a small/medium-sized library with a current average of about 250 patron visits each day. Demonstrated public service experience and working knowledge of general library services. Strong working knowledge of computerized library systems, the Internet and computers. Ability to be highly organized and detailed oriented. Ability to achieve set goals in a timely fashion, to work independently and with minimal supervision, to effectively manage time, and to work with frequent interruptions. Full-time. 35 hours a week. $13/hour. Sunday through Thursday schedule with one evening.
