Reference Librarian I - New Canaan Library

Reference Librarian I - New Canaan Library is seeking an innovative, motivated, energetic person to be part of a busy Reference Department in a well-read, highly educated community where the Library is beloved. This position is responsible for some collection development of both print and online resources; assists with the development and maintenance of the Library’s website; coordinates and presents computer and database instruction both individually and in a classroom setting; answers questions from the public providing reference and reader’s advisory expertise and experience in graphic design and production. Salary meets CLA minimum guidelines, commensurate with experience; includes excellent benefits. Applicants must have an MLS and 2-3 years reference experience in a library.
