Director of Building Services - Norwalk Public Library. Full-Time. Salary: $27.80 - $32.86 Hourly OR $57,831.00 - $68,348.00 Annually. Description: Plans, organizes and supervises the general cleaning, maintenance and security of assigned municipal buildings, adjacent walks and grounds and equipment. Responds to emergency situations in buildings, such as power failure, plumbing, heating or vandalism. Provides assistance to officials, staff, visitors and other employees as necessary. Typical Qualifications: The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with graduation from high school and five years experience in building maintenance work, including responsibility for mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; and two years experience in supervising building cleaning and maintenance work.
