Young Adult Outreach Librarian - The Willimantic Public Library has reopened its search for a half-time Young Adult Outreach Librarian. This is a one year grant funded position. Rate of pay is $15.50 per hour without benefits. The YA Outreach librarian will oversee the services offered at the satellite library in the town's Teen Center; will be responsible for, under the supervision of the WPL Children's librarian, building a collection that will be shared among the public library, high school library, and satellite center; designing programming and promotional materials to increase awareness of and engagement with the libraries, and implementing a Teen Advisory Board and supervising Book Ambassadors. Minimum qualifications are a BA and experience working with young adults, or at the discretion of the search committee, equivalent education and experience.
