Head of Technical Services - Ledyard Public Libraries. Part time (20 hours). $17.30-18.36/hr. Qualifications: Four year college degree plus two years experience in library work to include technical services and library automation. Knowledge of library policies, procedures and administrative practices; knowledge of bibliographic standards of cataloging; knowledge and experience in data entry, and on-line computer systems; knowledge of print and online resources. Duties: Catalog all library materials online using LION standards and criteria; set up and maintain parameters for the library's computer system; represent the library at LION, operating as project manager; select adult materials in cooperation with the Library Director; order library materials; prepare technical service reports for the Director; other duties as required.
