Branch Manager - West Haven Public Library

Branch Manager - SEARCH REOPENED. The West Haven Public Library, West Haven, CT, is seeking a dynamic full time (34 hours) Branch Manager. The Branch Manager will be responsible for the daily operations while providing direct service to the neighborhood. Duties include: planning and supervising the work of staff; the ability to provide reference service and reader's advisory; programming and outreach; ability to select adult and juvenile collection; overseeing the physical maintenance of the branch and budget responsibility. The Branch Manager must have strong computer literacy; good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; superior customer service skills, ability to identify needs and develop services accordingly. Evenings and Saturdays required. Salary: $45,049 with benefits. Requirements: MLS from an ALA accredited program. Strong supervisory experience is essential.
