Children's Services Coordinator - Scoville Library, Salisbury

Children's Services Coordinator - Scoville Library seeks a child-friendly, creative, enthusiastic public service oriented person to join our staff. Responsibilities include: plan and provide programs for children and teens, such as storytimes, class visits, book clubs, and summer reading programs; community outreach services; reference and reader's advisory for toddlers, through high school students, parents and care-givers using print and electronic resources; collection development. Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent computer skills and working knowledge of children's literature are required. 35 hours per week with some evening and weekend hours. Salary range is $18.00-$22.00 per hour; paid vacation/sick time and health insurance benefits apply. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and experience working with youth and/or public libraries.
