Adult Services Reference Librarian - Stratford Library Association, Stratford, CT. Are you excited about providing reference and outreach services in a diverse community? The Stratford Library Association, Stratford, CT, is just a train ride away from New York City. You will have the opportunity to work in a team environment developing programs and services for a variety of cultures and age groups. Each year, we handle nearly 40,000 reference transactions with a focus on providing information in a variety of formats and settings using traditional and Library 2.0 tools. You will participate in materials selection, community outreach, programming, and English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) services. Strong communication and reference skills along with proficiency with computer applications and a commitment to public service required. ALA/MLS degree required. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. 35 hrs./week including evening and weekend hours. Starting Salary: $45,919 - $56,456 depending on experience. Full benefits, including Medical & Dental.
