Children's Services Assistant - Stonington Free Library

Children's Services Assistant - Part-time (20-25 hours per week). Stonington Free Library is seeking a child-friendly and energetic individual to assist the Children's Librarian in providing outstanding customer service through community outreach and in-house programs. Use your creativity to design flyers, brochures and bulletin boards to promote library services and programs. Assist with planning and implementing preschool story times, family programs, and services for youth of all ages. Applicant needs to be proficient with Microsoft software, Internet searching and have reliable transportation. Some evening and Saturday hours required. LTA and/or library experience a plus. $12 per hour. Benefits include sick, holiday and vacation days (no health insurance). Application deadline: August 10, 2007.
