Public Services Programmer - Farmington Libraries

Public Services Programmer (part-time) - We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and flexible programmer to join our outstanding professional information services team. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently within a creative, supportive, and fast paced environment. You will develop and present fabulous adult programming to the growing numbers of adults in our Farmington Valley community, answer reference questions, and much more. We require good knowledge of computer applications, a tremendous drive toward achieving customer satisfaction and a Bachelor's degree. In addition to a resume and a completed application form, the applicant is required to write a 200 word essay on their vision for adult programming at the Farmington Library. A computing test will be part of the interviewing process. This position is anticipated to work 16 hours a week at $15-17/hr depending on experience. A flexible schedule will include 1-2 nights weekly and occasional weekend hours depending on program schedule demands.
