The Ferguson Library is seeking a customer-focused individual to provide borrower’s services at the busy Harry Bennett Branch. The successful candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and knowledge of the library’s services and collections, especially popular and best-selling titles. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within and across departments is also a requirement of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow library policies and procedures accurately.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Previous library or customer service experience is a plus.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
HOURLY RATE RANGE: $28.86 - $36.69
