Greenwich Library is seeking a full-time Librarian II, Teen Services Librarian for our Information Services Department. The Teen Services Librarian is responsible for creating and facilitating a diverse array of teen programs for library patrons ages 12-18. Maintaining the young adult collection's currency and accuracy is a primary responsibility of this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of young adult literature and have a genuine affinity for working with teens. The Teen Services Librarian provides reference support, helping teen patrons access materials and navigate library services while building trust and rapport.
Greenwich Library prides itself on our innovative programming, community outreach, and engagement. This position serves as a connector to the Greenwich Public School system and collaborates with school library media specialists, teachers, and other community partners. The Teen Services Librarian also leads the planning and managing of the Teen Summer Reading Program.
