$24.00 per hour, 19 hours per week
Position Summary: The Library Events and Technology Assistant provides front-line support and technical assistance in daily library operations, with a special focus on managing the public meeting rooms and Makerspace. This includes maintaining schedules, handling reservations, and ensuring the rooms are properly set up and maintained for community use. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in library science, information science, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a library, office, or customer service environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and multiple priorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with the public and staff.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with technology; ability to learn library systems and software.
Work Schedule and Status: Part-Time; Non-Union. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as required by library operations.
