The Lewisboro Library is searching for a part-time Teen/Adult Reference Librarian. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and tech-savvy individual who is enthusiastic about working with teens in grades 6 through 12 while also working in the adult reference department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a variety of engaging teen programs, including a Summer Reading challenge and a Teen Advisory Group.
- Develop and manage the young adult collection.
- Conduct community outreach with the schools and local organizations.
- Provide readers’ advisory services for teens and their families.
- Provide reference services, reader’s advisory, and technology assistance at the adult reference desk and in the children’s room as needed.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science. At least one year experience working in a library. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva and social media. Familiarity with library digital content services including Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, etc.
Salary range: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule: 4 days a week (32 hours), including some evenings and weekends.
