Overview: The Sacred Heart University Library is seeking applications for a Business and Instruction Librarian. The Business and Instruction Librarian is a user-oriented individual who will provide instruction, specialized research assistance, and collection development for all business, marketing, management, and economics related departments within the university's Welch College of Business & Technology. Early-career librarians and recent MLIS grads are encouraged to apply.
Education Requirements: MLS or equivalent from an ALA accredited institution required.
Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years' experience working as a librarian, ideally in an academic setting. Reference and instruction experience is preferred, as is additional background or coursework in business, economics, or a related field.
