Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Adult Services, the PT Reference Librarian Adult Services Librarian interprets user needs, provides reference, readers' advisory, referral services and assistance with technology to patrons. In addition, this individual may be assigned additional responsibilities related to the department's programming and marketing, interlibrary loan and special collections. The PT Reference Librarian is assigned a schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary for appropriate delivery of public services. The position requires the use of independent judgment, initiative, maturity, observation, and communication skills. $32.00 per hour. Rotating Sundays with an average of 3.5 hours per month.
