Hours: Part-time up to 17 hours per week (Tuesdays 8am-4pm, Wednesdays 3pm-7pm, Fridays 8am-2pm)

Anticipated Start Date: April/May 2024
Position Summary: The Reference Librarian’s main function encompasses a broad-spectrum including reference services via in-person, phone, and online chat; collection development; assisting in interlibrary loan; circulation management; troubleshooting basic IT questions; and individualized instruction with library resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in in Library Science with one (1) or more years of
relevant experience working in a Library. Knowledge of library services.
Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an educational setting or academic library providing direct service to students and faculty, preferably at a community college. Experience creating accessible learning materials, such as instructional videos, research guides, and interactive tutorials. Experience with creating both in person and online educational, cultural, and recreational programming for the college community. Knowledge of Microsoft applications, social media platforms, and web-based communication, such as online chat.
Salary: $44.89 hourly.
