Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing reference and readers’ advisory service to the public at a busy reference desk and assisting patrons with the use of library computers and personal electronic devices including e-readers and tablets.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science preferred. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and other programs as needed; familiarity with specific applications (i.e. Innovative Interfaces ILS, Excel and Publisher).
Hours and Salary: Hours are Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm, weekend rotation (Saturdays 10am-5pm September-June, 10am-1pm June-August, and Sundays 1:30-5 September-June), plus substitution as needed.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience.
