Responsibilities: Schedule presenters and plan a diverse range of adult programs, including lectures, author visits, book discussions, performances and hands-on workshops. Evaluate programs and record statistics. Create publicity materials, social media posts and press releases. Maintain library newsletter. Plan large community engagement events and fundraisers.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and previous library experience required. Ability to work under time constraints with limited supervision. Reliable, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to translate community needs and interests into effective, timely programming. Computer literacy and familiarity with modern marketing methods, such as social media, required.
Salary: $22/hr, 12-15 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
