Part-Time Children's Library Assistant - Darien Library, CT

Darien Library seeks two successful candidates to work in the Children’s Library. The applicants should have experience working with children and families and the ability to provide homework help and readers’ advisory. Candidates should also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Children’s Library Assistants may also conduct programming for children, including storytimes and school-age programs. These are part-time positions with no benefits.

Position One: 6 to 10 hours/week, weekend and evening shifts
Position Two: 6 to 10 hours/week, weekday shifts, plus one weekend per month
