Assistant City Librarian (Librarian V) – Bridgeport Public Library, CT

The City of Bridgeport seeks a dynamic, results-driven administrator to serve as the Assistant City Librarian of Bridgeport Public Library. Serving a diverse population of over 148,000, Bridgeport Public Library is experiencing a period of positive transformation and growth by building new library branches, renovating existing locations, expanding programs, services and outreach to the community. The ideal candidate has assumed increasingly responsible administrative and supervisory duties in a diverse urban public library setting and will possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, the ability to manage several projects at a time, and proven time management skills.
