The State of Connecticut, Connecticut State Library (CSL) is currently accepting applications for the position of Library Aide, with the Division of Library Development, Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (LBPH),
in Middletown, CT. This is a part-time, 30 hours per week,
Monday-Friday position, from 9:00am-3:00pm. LBPH is a network library of
the Library of Congress’ National Library Service for the Blind and
Print Disabled (NLS). LBPH lends books and magazines in audio and
braille formats, for free, to any Connecticut resident who is unable to
read regular print due to a visual, reading, or physical disability.
