Simsbury
Public Library seeks a librarian to join our Children's Department
team. Under the general supervision of the Head of Children’s Services
this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service at
the circulation desk. This position also provides readers' advisory for
children, helps create passive programs, and assists with promotion of
the Library's programs and services.
This is an unaffiliated
position with an hourly rate of $28.16 per hour. This position is
scheduled for (4) to (16) hours per week, including weekend rotations of
(1) to (2) Saturdays and (2) to (3) Sundays per month, plus a recurring
week day shift.
