for adults in a dynamic and inclusive leading library? New Canaan
Library seeks an analytical, detail- oriented, collaborative Collections
Librarian for our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad
understanding of the fundamentals of collection development,
acquisitions, and cataloguing, and will be passionate about providing
access to diverse library materials in all formats that meet the
expressed and anticipated needs of all adults in the community.

currently constructing an exciting new state of the art facility and
campus, which is expected to open in late winter 2023.
Candidates with a relevant master’s degree from an ALA-accredited
institution and recent MLS graduates and students in their final
semester are encouraged to apply.

The role includes regular service desk shifts with some evening and
