SALARY STEP RANGE: $56,948 - $70,018, Range 4
A successful candidate will have a mix of organizational and analytical
skills. They will have the ability to work out numbers, generate
reports and find discrepancies as well as cost-saving opportunities.
Other qualifications may include: Basic data entry skills, comfortable
with math and calculations, good listening and communication skills and
attention to detail.

The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Accounts Payable: Reviews all invoices for appropriate expense
allocation, documentation and approvals. Invoice problem resolution and
credit memos. Enter all invoices into Blackbaud Financial Edge software.
Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks. Answer
all vendor inquires. Maintains all accounts payable reports and accounts
payable files. Performs filing and copying.
Passport Office
Assistant*: Assist with the passport processing, procedures and
scheduling of passport agents. Training for passport certification is
provided. *Prerequisite is to complete the passport training and become a certified passport agent.
Other duties or projects as assigned, including: Process general
mailings and other library materials for outgoing mail. Empty and
replenish Jamex machines. Prepare copier cash receipt deposit. Process
general mailings and other library materials for outgoing mail. Cover
switchboard operator during breaks.
Qualifications: High school
diploma or equivalent preferred. Some College with business/accounting
courses preferred. Proven accounting experience, preferable as an
accounts payable clerk. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted
accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures. Proficiency with
MS Office, databases and accounting software. Good customer service and
communication skills. Spanish speaking preferred. Cooperative and
willing to assist others. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Can easily adapt to change. Willingness to learn. Accuracy and attention
to detail. Independent, organized, and a flexible work style. Team
Player and able to work collaboratively in a small department.
