Records Retention Specialist – Borough of Naugatuck, CT
The
 Borough of Naugatuck is seeking a part time Record Retention Specialist
 to file, organize, maintain a database and destroy records in 
accordance with the State of Connecticut Library statutes and 
regulations as it pertains to Connecticut municipalities. Schedule is 
flexible and some remote work available depending upon needs and 
deadlines. Hours can range from 8 to 16 hours per week depending upon 
needs. Responsibilities include: meeting with department heads to set up
 a retention and destruction process in accordance with the CT State 
Library statutes and regulations. Acquiring proper destruction approval 
from the CT State Library and coordinating destruction with appropriate 
vendors. Computer skills and a MLS degree from an accredited 
college/university are required. Extensive experience with record 
retention laws may be substituted for degrees. Applications will be
