The
Beardsley & Memorial Library in Winsted, CT is seeking an
enthusiastic, friendly, and detail-oriented part-time library assistant
who will assist with both circulation and technical services. Duties
include shelving books, assisting on the circulation desk, and
cataloging new materials in the ILS.
Necessary skills and
experiences include customer service, strong communication skills, and
the ability to work well with others in a professional environment. An
associate's degree and/or library experience is preferred. Experience
with Evergreen is a plus, as is fluency in Spanish.
This position is for 20 hours per week at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
