Hartford Public Library seeks a patient, tech-savvy individual for
temporary part-time employment (June – August) in our Makerspace to
support summer enrichment programming for children and teens. A typical
schedule will include 15 - 20 hours/week, Monday – Thursday, with some
morning availability required. The East Hartford Public Library
Makerspace features 3D printers, a Carvey, music production equipment,
media conversion equipment, a green screen, a Silhouette Cameo, and
more. The ideal applicant has experience working with children and teens
and can demonstrate familiarity with some or all of these technologies.
Hourly rate is $21 - $25/hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications: Four year degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
