Library Assistant - Wolcott Public Library, CT

The Wolcott Public Library has an opening for a part time library assistant. This is a 20 hour per week position, which includes afternoons and evenings and 1 Saturday per month in rotation. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The library assistant will perform a wide variety of circulation tasks as well as provide tech support and readers’ advisory. As part of the 20 hours the applicant will also be required to assist the director with adult programming. This includes outreach and other tasks assigned by the director. Excellent customer service skills are required. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
