Are
you passionate about children’s literature and devoted to inspiring
curiosity? New Canaan Library seeks a friendly, highly motivated,
creative Children’s Librarian for our active Children’s Library. The
ideal candidate will have a deep, broad knowledge of children’s
literature and a passion for public service, will thrive in a fast-paced
environment as part of a collaborative team, and will have experience
working with children ages birth to twelve.
You will serve as
the Children’s Collections Coordinator, selecting and cataloguing youth
materials in print and non-print formats, developing, and assisting in
managing multiple collection budgets, and promoting new and diverse
titles to patrons.
