Part-Time Library Assistant - Middlesex
Community College seeks a part-time Library Assistant to provide direct
public services support within the Library and Learning Commons. The
Library Assistant’s main functions are to provide library services to
students, faculty, staff and citizens; hire, train, schedule, and
supervise student workers; and to perform all relevant Library functions
including circulation; periodicals processing; acquisitions processing;
interlibrary loans; reserves; basic reference and readers’ advisory;
library archives; and equipment lending. Minimum qualification is an
associate degree with a preference for Library Technical Assistant
certificate and two years of related Library experience.
