Adjunct Faculty: Research Services Librarian - Western Connecticut State University (max 19 hours per week). Provides traditional and virtual reference and research assistance to the university community, instructs students, faculty, and staff in the general use of library materials and accessing online information resources, assists in the creation of research guides and other educational material. In the absence of a full-time librarian, may supervise library clerks and technicians. Performs other duties as assigned. This part time position will require evening hours and may also include some weekends and holidays. Required qualifications: ALA accredited Master’s degree, prior professional experience with library reference and instruction and integrated library systems, proficiency with library, educational, and instructional technologies, excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
