Library Director - Town of East Hampton, CT

Library Director - The Town of East Hampton is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to fill the full-time position of Library Director. The Library Director is responsible for the leadership and overall management of the award-winning and community oriented East Hampton Public Library. The Director oversees all services, collections, programs, planning, budgeting, and staffing with a mission and vision to connect people, information and ideas in a community gathering point for learning and growth.
     A master’s degree in library science from an accredited college or university or a bachelor’s degree, supplemented by graduate level study leading to an MLS degree, along with considerable experience in professional library work including experience in a managerial and supervisory capacity with strong customer service skills is required. This is a bargaining unit position. Salary range: up to $83,367, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefit package.
