Young Adult Librarian - Otis Library, Norwich, CT

Young Adult Librarian - Otis Library, a National Medal Award-winning library in Norwich, CT seeks a Young Adult Librarian to work with ‘tweens and teens (Grades 6 – 12). The ideal candidate will have experience developing young adult collections, engaging age-appropriate programming, and outreach. Strong reader advisory skills and familiarity with the technology and social platforms used by this age group are essential. Experience with Sierra ILS is an asset. Bilingual abilities are desirable but not required. This a 24-hour/week position with some benefits. Hours include days, two evenings and alternating Saturdays. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution is preferred. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
