Emerging Technologies Librarian - Otis Library, Norwich, CT

Emerging Technologies Librarian - Otis Library, a National Medal-winning library in Norwich, CT is seeking an Emerging Technologies Librarian. This person will be responsible for providing instruction to staff and patrons in basic and advanced computer applications. They will promote awareness of new and emerging technologies to improve the patron experience, library services, and programming. This person will also be responsible for promoting library programs and services on various social media platforms and must be current with the various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer literacy, communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual abilities are desirable but not required. This is a 28-hour/week position with some benefits. Hours include daytime and evening hours and alternating Saturdays. A minimum of an Associate Degree is required. MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution is preferred. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
