Senior Librarian, Head of Adult Services – Cheshire Public Library. This
professional supervisory position is responsible for the management and
operation of the Adult Services Department and its integration and
coordination with the other major library divisions. Reporting to the
Library Director, the Head of Adult Services serves on the Senior
Management Team and assists with developing and planning library
services and policies. We are looking for an effective leader with
demonstrated excellence in personnel management, budgeting, strategic
planning, building community partnerships, customer service and current
and emerging technologies and trends in adult library services. This is
a 35 hour per week, union position and includes at least one evening
and Saturdays in rotation. Starting hourly rate is $35.53.
To be

accredited school of library/information science and at least three
