Part-Time Adult Services Librarian - The
Simsbury Public Library is seeking applications for the position of
Part-Time Adult Services Librarian. The successful candidate(s) will be
responsible for providing excellent customer service, computer
knowledge, instruction skills and library research assistance to meet
the informational needs of the community; as well as assisting in the
promotion of the Library, its programs and services.
The
position requires the following availability: rotating Saturday and
Sunday, evenings, and availability for substitute and daytime shifts as
needed.
Qualifications include a master’s degree in library and
information studies (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA- accredited institution.
Salary is $28.16/hour for approximately (4-16) hours per week. This is a
part-time unaffiliated position.
