FT/Contract Senior Research Specialist - ARIX Research. ABOUT US:
ARIX Research is an international research consulting company focused
on data retrieval and information services. As a carve-out of a large
international PE firm, we focus on research projects for private equity
professionals, consulting firms, and corporate clients.
We are
currently recruiting for an experienced research professional to work
full time or on a contract basis, either remotely or from the firm’s
Stamford, CT office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete
complex searches to find information on companies, industries and
markets, globally. Identify the appropriate free and fee-based resources
for each project; cost effectively navigate a wide variety of research
databases including: Factiva, Bloomberg, Factset, CapitalIQ,
Mergermarket, Dealogic, Profound, Thomson, Gartner, IDC, Euromonitor
etc. Provide in-depth assistance with economic and regulatory requests.
Organize research results in proprietary KM system. Compile company
profiles & market analysis on an as-needed basis.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in economics or information
science. 5-10 years of research experience in corporate, financial, or
consulting environment. Experience with professional, subscription
databases/providers. Knowledge of complex search strategies and
analysis. English fluency (German language skills a strong bonus) with a
strong commitment to client satisfaction. The ability to analyze,
organize, and summarize large volumes of information into succinct,
meaningful deliverables. Excellent communication skills (a sense of
humor is much appreciated). Proficiency in major MS applications (Word,
Excel, PPT).
