The Board of Directors of the Licia and Mason Beekley Community Library,
New Hartford, CT is seeking a dynamic, energetic and community
relations-oriented leader as Director. The Library serves a population
of 7,500 with an annual budget of about $360,000 and a staff of nine
part-time employees with a commitment to excellent customer service. The
position will be available beginning January 2021. The Board invites
applications from experienced professionals with at least eight years of
progressively responsible experience in library leadership and
management and a MLS from an ALA- accredited institution. Starting
salary is $51,000, which may be negotiable based on experience, for a
35-hour week.
