Full-Time Adult Programming Librarian - Darien Library (CT) seeks a dynamic, community-minded Adult Programmer. The
ideal candidate is highly collaborative, creative, and flexible while
dedicated to providing exciting programming and book groups for patrons.

Reporting
to the Head of Adult Programming, the Adult Programming Librarian
co-Manages the programming calendar, helping to support and implement
over 550 innovative public programs annually for adults. The Adult
Programming Department works to position Darien Library as a vibrant hub
of intellectual and creative activity, with a wide range of lectures,
performances, hands-on workshops, town-wide events, and out-of-the-box
library programs for adults. The Adult Programmer also works with the
Book Group Coordinator to provide bespoke service to over 110 registered
book groups.
The salary is $57,000 – 60,000 annually, and is
commensurate with experience. Salary includes generous vacation, sick,
