Head / Children’s Librarian - The
Hotchkiss Library of Sharon seeks a dynamic Head / Children’s
Librarian, who, in addition to overseeing the circulation desk staff and
the Library’s daily operations, will design and implement children’s
programming and maintain and develop the children’s collection. The
successful candidate will possess 3+ years public library experience;
in-depth knowledge of an ILS, preferably Evergreen; some supervisory
experience; a strong knowledge of children’s literature; the ability to
foster community relationships; and be fluent with technology and social
media. This is a great time for a motivated, customer-service
oriented, team player to join our hard-working team. 30 hours per week.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
