Library Media Center Specialist (.5) - Parish Hill Middle/High School, Chaplin. Parish Hill Middle/High School has an immediate opening for a certified .5 FTE Library Media Center (LMC) Specialist. The successful applicant will develop and administer an integrated school library media program and will provide leadership, organizational and budget management skills. He/she will develop a school library media program that addresses 21st Century skills, including life and career development, learning and innovation, and information, media, and technology literacy. Furthermore, he/she will instruct students and staff in effective use of the media center and information and technology literacy skills and collaborate with teachers to design and implement lessons and instructional units. The LMC Specialist will also actively promote reading and information literacy skills through activities including reading programs, reading initiatives and other special events.
