Knowledge of operations of library as a multi-media center. Knowledge of relevant, current print and digital resources that supplement the curriculum across content areas. Creation of a culture of literacy and life-long reading across the school, in collaboration with teachers in each content area. Assume a leadership role in the implementation of new technology and the formal integration of research skills across the curriculum. Develop a short and long-range plan to provide formal training in technology. Prepare and make recommendations on budget for Library Media Center. Ability to deal effectively with people.
