of Anticipated Position Opening: Part time Educational Acquisitions
Assistant (17 hours per week). STARTING

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or
related discipline. Preferred qualifications include Academic Library
experience including familiarity with an integrated library system,
preferably Alma / Primo; with one year of library work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Library
Services, the Library Acquisitions Assistant will perform a variety of
administrative and technical tasks including: ordering and receiving
library material, monitoring expenditures, maintaining accurate
acquisitions records, overseeing invoice payments, establishing and
maintaining relationships with publishers and vendors; coordinating the
circulation of library materials and collection maintenance; and other
responsibilities as assigned that support the various functions of the
library. The successful candidate should possess excellent
interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong computer
skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a
fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
MINIMUM SALARY: $28.88 per hour.
