Information/Reference Assistants, Adult Services - Waterford Public Library.
The Waterford Public Library has immediate openings for two part-time
information/reference assistants in the adult services department.
These are paraprofessional positions and the successful candidates must
have a bachelor’s degree and one year of library experience or the
equivalent combination of related experience and training.
Duties include providing reference and readers’
advisory services, assisting customers in the use of the online catalog,
library databases and library mobile applications as well as at the
public access computer center. Assists in creating displays and
bibliographies and participating in department programs and special
events. Schedules include weekday morning and/or afternoon hours and
full-day Saturday rotation; 12-16 hours per week at $20.82/hour.
