Information/Technical Assistant, Children's Services - Waterford Public Library.
The Waterford Public Library has an immediate opening for a part-time
information/technical assistant in the children’s services department.
This is a paraprofessional position and the successful candidate must
have a bachelor’s degree and one year of library experience in technical
services and work with children or the equivalent combination of
related experience and training.
Duties include cataloging and classifying children’s
materials, direct customer service at the children’s information desk
and assisting in department programs and special events. Schedule
includes morning and/or afternoon hours Monday – Friday with Saturday
hours as needed. Schedule is up to 18 hours per week at $20.82/hour.
